SelectCare is simply phenomenal. As a physician, I have a good view into the current health care scene. In the sea of home health care providers, where these days everything is reduced to numbers, cost, and then ‘on-to-the-next’, SelectCare is an outlier in the best sense of the word. We had watched SelectCare for quite some time as they provided home care services for a dear family friend. We saw that they were 100% reliable, had excellent operating procedures, and hired really extraordinary caregivers who actually cared about their job and the person they were caring for. We have also had experience with other companies in the past which were so-so, and therefore when it came time for our family to engage a caregiving company for Mom they were the obvious choice. And it turned out to be by far the best choice possible. The SelectCare office team and managers are staffed with people who truly care about their clients. Working with the office to provide coverage as needed has been seamless. They are not only available but happy to communicate at any time. They are flexible in terms of the care needs, and can expand or contract the care depending on the needs of the client. The case managers are highly trained nurses who are super dedicated to insuring their clients receive what they need, and they go the extra mile. And the caregivers themselves are remarkable; reliable to a fault, well trained dedicated, capable, trustworthy…everything you could possibly want if you need to have someone outside of family coming into your home for very personal interactions with the family member in need. And when I’m out of town, and the peace of mind that I have knowing that SelectCare is there when I cannot be is absolutely priceless.

SelectCare home health aides took care of my mother and father for over a year and a half. Mom and Dad both had moderate dementia. I found the aides to be consistently caring, compassionate, understanding and attentive to my parents' needs. We are so pleased with the care my parents have received from SelectCare Home Health Care. I live in the opposite part of the state and have no other family in NYC to look in on them. My father refuses to leave his own home, so home care was the only way to go. They were recommended by my NYC church, who I knew had done a complete vetting of the service. My mother is, shall we say, difficult. She gave a lot of pushback to the process, but they were patient and kind, and completely understood her feelings. SelectCare has been helping to take care of my husband for an entire year, sometimes for 24 hours a day. He has been in constant danger of falling and has needed kind and careful help. This has been consistently provided by SelectCare. Not once did the agency fail to cover all these hours, even when someone occasionally had to cancel at the last minute. Always was a SelectCare aide there, ready to help at the appointed time. It was always easy to communicate with the office. The nursing help and advice was very useful and the nurse assigned to our case was the same one throughout the year. She visited every so often and was very knowledgeable and kind. I keep using the word "kind" because I think in this situation one needs not only competence but also kindness. This is consistently provided by SelectCare, both by management and by on-the-job aides. I recommend this agency very highly.

I needed an aide to fill in for my mother ASAP. All of you **always** come through for my mother, even when I ask the next-to-impossible. The simple truth is that, if it weren't for all of you--especially Sandy--I wouldn't have a life or a career or a good night's sleep.

We used SelectCare for 7 years to help care for my elderly parents, and they were lifesavers! SelectCare is professional, reliable and amazing, and we could not have survived 7 tough years of eldercare without them. I felt like I had a friend and a partner with them. They sent caring, well trained aides like Agnes every weekend. They also have skilled nurses like Kelly who took an interest in my parents and examined them periodically. Kelly was always available to help with nursing questions and suggestions. At times we needed substitutes for our private weekday aides, and SelectCare always came through for us and found someone. The 2 times they didn't have one of their own aides available to substitute they referred us to friendly competitors who helped out. They never left us hanging. It's also noteworthy that they continued to serve us reliably through the Covid lockdowns. SelectCare was also easy to deal with on administrative aspects like billing. I highly recommend SelectCare for home aides and eldercare.
