National Nurses Week

Every year from May 6th through May 12th is National Nurses Week in the U.S. This was the birthday of Florence Nightingale and is a week to celebrate and honor nurses for their yearlong dedication and commitment to the health care field.
We feel it only fitting that we post this incredible quote from Nursing Crib that shows how important they are to the people they care for and how much we appreciate their services.
“Being a nurse isn’t about grades, it’s about being who we are. No book can teach you how to cry with a patient.
No class can teach you how to tell their family that their parents have died or dying.
No professor can teach you how to find dignity in giving someone a bed bath.”
